Because of Lisa, my Mom’s life is 180 from where it was. Mom is 98 and looks radiant, healthy, is in good spirits, mentally alert, and has taken an interest in the other residents. She actually has gained weight, her health has improved, and she has made a friend!!! I know this sounds too good to be true, but Mom was placed 9 months ago and it’s been the best move she possibly could have made. Now when I call from Virginia, Mom can only talk for a few minutes because it’s either time for breakfast, or lunch, or exercise class, or someone has stopped by her room to chat. These phone calls are 180 degrees from the daily, hour-long calls of misery and heartache I fielded over the past 3 years.
